As a Senior Controller with Vitech, you will be responsible for “hands on” financial administration and planning for the company, which includes: financial management, financial policy development and implementation, management of accounting systems, budget planning and implementation, bank relations, short- and long-term forecasting. Reporting to the President, the Senior Controller will coordinate the strategic financial direction of the company. You will lead the establishment of systems, controls and procedures for the company and interact at all levels of the internal organization. Key responsibilities will include, the preparation of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, capital budgets, and the management of accounting departments.
Required skills and experience include a demonstrated excellence in a Senior Controller’s role in a technology company. The successful candidate will have at least 10+ years experience at a Senior Controller or Director of Finance level position. Expertise in all facets of accounting procedures is essential. Strong skills required in critical thinking and analysis, adherence to deadlines, excellent verbal and written communications, and interpersonal skills. A Bachelors degree and CPA and or MBA are required. Experience in a professional services organization is a must.
