| Description |
Clone genes, sterile technique, site-specific mutagenesis, PCR, plasmid preps, nucleic acid and protein gel electrophoresis, evaluate optimal protein expression conditions using bacterial and yeast hosts, and purify proteins for biochemical and structural analyses. The appointee will be expected to perform experiments carefully, with minimal supervision; keep accurate lab records; organize and clean lab area.

REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and/or related field.
