| Description |
A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available for conducting research on the molecular genetics of halophilic Archaea. The research requires experience in recombinant DNA methodology and molecular microbiology. Bioinformatic experience is a plus. Requires ability to work independently in the laboratory and demonstrated capability to write papers and grant proposals.
This is an annual appointment,renewable contingent upon funding availability and satisfactory performance.

| Qualifications |
REQUIRED:
Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field.
PREFERRED:
Experience with Archaea and radiation biology and knowledge of the human immune system. |
