This is a contingent category II position - 12 month appointment with renewal based on funding and performance.
Under supervision, the incumbent will be performing a wide variety of laboratory techniques to include:
- Cloning and expression
- Protein purification and characterization
- Immunocytochemistry
- Tissue culture
- Other lab duties as assigned(administration, radioactivity wipe tests)
- Perform routine lab maintenance
- Order supplies

| Qualifications |
Required: Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences and/or related field.
Preferred: The preferred candidate will have one year related experience in molecular cloning gel electrophoresis, DNA cloning, immunoblotting, SDS-PAGE and protein purification and recombinant techniques. |
