Job Complexity:
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Animation and other Art and Design Team members to conceptualize, design and execute high quality animation.
• Deliver work within performance objectives and on schedule.
• Learn proprietary tools quickly and work within a complex asset development pipeline.
• Stay abreast of the latest Animation technologies and tools.
• Create new plus update and replicate existing Animations.
• Attend daily review meetings and address daily feedback
• Review game, Create story hooks and fix bugs
• Maintain perforce branches and builds
• Test control in builds
Knowledge:
• Intermediate knowledge of Maya or an equivalent 3d package.
• A thorough understanding of animation principles and theory.
• The ability to maintain a high level of quality while working within design constraints and balancing performance issues.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• A willingness to provide and accept direction.
• The ability to perform well under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• MMO development and/or game play experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of development tools such as scripting editors and art integration tools is a plus.
• Technical skills including Mel Scripting, Rigging and Character setup are a plus.
