Senior FX Artist
This senior level role helps to drive the evolution of visual FX in our games by visualizing, creating and integrating innovative solutions to problems; working with various software applications to design various elements of a visual FX and collaborating with the FX team and lead artists on creating unique and interesting visual representations for events in our games.
This role often functions as point person for specific projects, and frequently provides mentoring and training to upcoming artists.
Specific tasks include:
Planning and creating unique particle systems
Hookup of created FX through script
Bug fixing
Review meetings with requestors and art teams
R&D new FX
Resolving “Hot Fix” issues
Fork integration testing
Attending planning meetings
Prototyping
IGC planning/execution
Attending weekly PD reviews
Documenting processes
Required Skills:
Required background & experience:
At least 5 years of relevant, progressive work experience
