The primary responsibility of this position will be to provide technical support to the Production Field Engineering Manager and engineering team. The position requires previous experience.

• Providing support to the manager and engineers in all stages of development, analysis and presentation of data using knowledge of spreadsheets, databases and other company software.
• Building, formatting, populating, expanding, and maintaining complex spreadsheets.
• Manipulating data between Excel, Access, and other relational databases.
• Insure the integrity and portability of the data between database applications.
• Exporting data out for analysis by the engineers.
• Interfacing with other groups to insure that the data entered into the database is reliable.
• Generating high quality reports and presentations for departmental, as well as upper management use.
• Performing trend analysis, creating probability distributions, making recommendations and taking effective action within range of authority.
• Performing complex calculations and data interpretation to improve efficiency of processes.
• Creating queries in database software and generating reports as needed.
• Importing, entering and maintaining production data, creating production plots, forecasting production volumes, etc.
• Maintaining and monitoring operating expense data and performing trend analyses.
• Creating databases, updating budgets and strategic plans. Perform analyses to explain variances as appropriate.
• Preparing PowerPoint presentations suitable for use by upper management.
• Working with specialized software as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions.
• Three years experience as an engineering tech or in data management/analyst role.
• Proficient (performs the skill with limited or no assistance) in use of MS Office products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access. Proficient in SQL or Oracle type database a plus.
• Ability to program in visual basic or other windows type application a plus.
• Computer Science degree preferred, but not required.
• Creative, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to flourish in fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and efficiently prioritize work to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interface with other technicians to help solve data issues and data portability between applications a must.
