Job Description:

Responsible for the strategy and implementation of learning and organizational development solutions for the business. Includes scoping the needs, organizing and formulating appropriate programs or initiatives to address leadership, management, career and professional development needs. Partners with HR business partners and managers and business unit leaders to identify needs, as well as identify, coordinate and arrange suitable experts to deliver the solution, i.e. training, team effectiveness, organizational effectiveness, career development, etc. Works with key business leaders and the human resources team to design and implement effective talent, performance management and succession planning solutions, diversity and inclusion, and assists/supports the development program of our college relations initiative.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Conducts needs analysis and confers with human resource teams and management to determine training needs.
2. Formulates training policies, procedures, programs and schedules based on knowledge of identified training needs.
3. Selects appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual training, group instruction, or computer-based training.
4. Organizes and develops training manuals, reference library, and other educational materials.
5. Researches and selects outside consultants and trainers to conduct training in specialized areas as needed.
6. Maintains records and provides reports and analysis of program effectiveness, participation, gap analysis and other ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
7. Monitors the effectiveness, makes recommendations on performance management process and succession planning.
8. Partnering with operational management, provides workforce planning models.
9. Assists in organizational Human Resource projects/programs as necessary.



Job Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education or related field is required. Experience in organizational development and general human resource experience of five to seven years is essential. Outstanding verbal, written, multi-tasking and communications skills are required. Must possess strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
