Job Description
INSIGHT IMAGING is a leading provider of radiology services, with more than 150 fixed imaging facilities and mobile units located in over 30 states. We offer a full continuum of diagnostic imaging services that complement existing community healthcare resources and focus on the specific needs of each distinct medical community. Seeking an Administrative Assistant Under moderate supervision, perform a variety of administrative and clerical support duties including but not limited to, typing, correspondence, answering and screening incoming telephone calls, coordinating travel arrangements, assisting with preparation of various forms and reports, maintaining files and logs, and operating general office equipment; support executive and administrative staff.




Examples of Essential Functions:

  • Compose and type correspondence, legal documents, memos, reports, tables, proposals, using word processing and spreadsheet software programs.
  • Answer and screen incoming telephone calls. Record accurate messages as necessary; arrange for conference calls as requested.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries including transportation and hotels. Arrange for meeting rooms, select meals, and oversee all activities for meetings at hotels as necessary.
  • Type, edit, and proofread various forms, reports, expense reports, invoices, check requests, purchase orders, airway bills, related documents and communications.
  • Maintain chronological files for incoming and outgoing correspondence, documents, invoices, and center profiles.
  • Maintain up to date rolodex files.
  • Order and maintain supplies as required.
  • Distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail including mass mailings.
  • Maintain executive calendar and/or calendar for department.
  • Use general office equipment.
  • Type and distribute minutes of meetings.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, the Company’s policies and procedures, and The InSight Integrity Program.
  • Perform other projects/tasks, as requested by the Company.

    Candidates must have:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five (5) years of previous administrative support experience involving administrative, office, and executive staff.
  • The ability to type 70 wpm and possess advanced computer skills.
  • Expert level Microsoft Office skills.

    Knowledge:
  • Customer Service principles and techniques.
  • Office filing and record keeping techniques.
  • Office practices and procedures.
  • Telephone and telecommunications equipment.
  • Basic accounting procedures.




  • Required Skills
    Skills/Abilities:
  • Operate a personal computer including word processing, database and spreadsheet applications programs.
  • Operate a computer keyboard at the rate of 70 wpm.
  • Operate telecommunications console and standard office equipment such
    as calculators, copiers and facsimile equipment.
  • Schedule, organize and complete work in accordance with deadlines and
    time constraints
  • Understand and follow specifications and instructions.
  • Communicate effectively with management, vendors, contractors, staff,
    investors, health care representatives, governmental regulators and external customers.
  • Scan, verify, copy, fax and distribute documents and messages.
