Job Description
INSIGHT IMAGING is a leading provider of radiology services, with more than 150 fixed imaging facilities and mobile units located in over 30 states. We offer a full continuum of diagnostic imaging services that complement existing community healthcare resources and focus on the specific needs of each distinct medical community. Seeking a Patient Scheduler / Insurance Verifier for our diagnostic imaging centralized scheduling center. Will schedule and interview patients and record necessary information applicable to type of examination. Document personal information and verify patient insurance benefits to ensure proper payment of services.
Required Skills
Candidates Must Have:
  • A High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of medical office experience - preferably in the area of scheduling patient appointments.
  • Medical terminology and basic human anatomy knowledge.
  • Knowledge of insurance coverage and various plan provisions pertaining to authorized services, providers and eligibility requirements.
  • Basic typing and computer skills.
