Our Strategic Value Advisory group applies core finance theory and skills, quantitative modeling and analysis to management problems. We provide our clients with financial projections and risk analysis in support of business valuations, mergers & acquisitions, capital investment decisions, financial reporting, and litigation.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with colleagues to devise innovative solutions to client problems
  • Working closely with clients and coworkers to formulate financial models
  • Programming and running models
  • Performing valuations of businesses and assets in relation to mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and for capital raising
  • Interviewing experts and performing industry research
  • Performing data analysis
  • Writing reports and making presentations
  • Developing new business

Requirements:
  • Undergraduate and/or Graduate Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Management Science, Financial Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or other quantitative discipline from a nationally or internationally recognized and accredited college or university
  • Certificate or Degree in Finance, or equivalent coursework, is preferred
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5
  • Graduation date between May 2009 and May 2010
  • Solid understanding of mathematical concepts, probability and statistics, and programming
  • Enjoyment of applying quantitative techniques to challenging, real-world problems
  • Strong analytical, comprehension and problem solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and strong personal integrity
  • Willingness to take initiative and responsibility, work independently and master new tasks quickly
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to obtaining outstanding results
