| Description |
This position is responsible for the execution and support of all production electrical maintenance, powerhouse and power distribution preventative maintenance activities which will achieve the desired results in quality, cost, delivery, safety and morale. The electrician/electronics technician is assigned duties to insure that plant equipment is maintained at levels consistent with Company specifications.
Must be self-motivated with a breadth of electrical and some mechanical knowledge including, but not limited to, machine repair and rebuilding, welding, pipe fitting, all phases of 460v/230v/120v and motor controls.
Candidate must possess good time management, English-written and verbal skills, communication, organizational, and people skills. Pay or hourly wage is commensurate with experience, up to $26.00 per hour and a night shift premium.
Electricians must be able to read blueprints and understand wiring patterns and sequence. This position must have critical thinking ability. Can troubleshoot electrical and machine electronic problems. Have experience in wiring 110/220, 480V 3-phase motor circuits and Pro Logic Controls on all packaging and processing equipment. Install, maintain, calibrate, and/or repair electrical and electronic equipment including, but not limited to, power distribution, motor control, motor sequence control and circuit bords, fuses, and relays. Respond to the immediate corrective maintenance, equipment rewiring, and facilities modifications.
Work toward the continuous improvement of equipment, housekeeping and safety.
Attend Facilities Team meetings, perform daily rounds, and handle the daily needs, including the training of apprentices and other journeyman to do maintenance that is within their capability.
Mandatory compliance with Safety Lock-out-Tag-out procedures required.

| Requirements |
Applicants should possess a minimum of a journeyman's level of experience in repairing a variety of high-speed assembly and packaging machines. Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics required. Welding, electrical skills and working knowledge of preventative maintenance programs also desired.
Must be available to work weekends. This position requires your own tools. High School diploma Ability to read/write English
