Responsible for the engineering of existing and future production in the assembly areas of the plant. Solve technical problems on assembly lines related to the produced part and equipment. Develop solutions to reduce scrap and improve productivity. Introduce lean manufacturing concepts and provide assembly line support. Be responsible for assembly design and to its effectiveness, simplicity, cost and safety. Assist with the proper installation and operation of newly developed or improved equipment. Produce work instructions for assembly lines. In a team environment, assist with the introduction of new product lines including the review of the product as to its ability to be manufactured or assembled. |
| Requirements |
Four year technical degree and a minimum of 5 years of project management experience related to equipment development. Knowledge of machine elements, automated production equipment in a manufacturing environment and manufacturing process methods is required. |
