Position is responsible for a broad spectrum of financial activities with minimal supervision for the Electronics and Controls (E&C) business segment. Main areas of responsibility are as follows: - Price Controlling / Quote Approvals - Sales Controlling / Budgeting / Forecasting - R&D Controlling - Finished Goods Inventory Management - Warranty Management - Marketing Analysis for Promotions - Product Rationalization - New Product Request Analysis - Price Management Including Customer Projects - Selling Expense Controlling General Ledger: • Assist in the monthly closing of expenses for multiple departments • Monthly analysis of expense activity • Review and assure accuracy of various subsystems • Assure corporate and SOX compliance in daily activities Budgeting/Forecasting: • Coordinate the preparation, review, and approval of the sales forecast and budget • Coordinate the preparation, review, and approval of the R&D and Marketing budgets • Coordinate monthly department expense reporting for management review • Assist in preparing corporate budget schedules • Assist in preparation/analysis for management presentations Reporting: • Sales Reporting – Top Customers, Sales Tracking, other requests • Monthly analysis of key expense accounts Help identify and implement process improvements. Complete special projects as assigned. |
| Requirements |
Basic qualifications: BS/MS in Accounting / Finance with CPA or MBA preferred Seven or more years accounting and/or financial analysis experience. Strong perceptual, analytical, organizational and communication skills. Working knowledge of SAP General Ledger and Hyperion. Requires a broad knowledge accounting practices and procedures. Excellent computer skills with the Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Outlook) and ability to multi-task. Experience in the manufacturing industry strongly preferred. There is no relocation assistance with this position and we are unable to provide sponsorship for this position. This position will require the selected candidate to be onsite Monday through Friday during business hours. |
