Requirements:
  • Fifteen or more years of relevant work experience in permitting, regulatory compliance, and project management
  • Master’s degree in environmental sciences
  • Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with client development, proposal preparation, and other business development activities
  • Knowledge and use of office software packages
  • Broad familiarity with and application of NEPA and SEPA for a variety of project types
  • OSHA training
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities:
  • Further develop environmental permitting and environmental and social impact assessment capabilities and business for the firm
  • Work with clients to develop strategic approaches to satisfy permitting requirements and achieve project acceptance and approval
  • Direct and manage field data collection efforts, data validation, and data evaluation
  • Prepare technical reports and permit applications
  • Develop new business, scope projects, and prepare proposals and SOQs
  • Expand client relationships
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to junior team members
