Summary
Work as a strong contributing member of the Marketing Team to conceive, develop, and produce fully integrated marketing campaigns to support our numerous product lines and industry segments. This position will be 60-70% writing, with the remaindering 30-40% split between various marketing tasks such as: interviewing customers, surveying and researching customer purchasing behaviors, updating the website, managing search engine optimization programs, as well as coordinating advertising, media, direct mail and/or production schedules.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Write copy for all types of Thermography Division Marketing campaigns: print, radio, TV and web ads, direct mail, email blasts, landing pages, new product announcements, press releases, web pages, technical pamphlets, multi-media storyboards, etc.

Interview and document customer usage habits and purchasing behaviors, either over the phone, in-person, or in a tradeshow environment. This individual must be capable of translating this survey and primary research knowledge into actionable marketing campaigns aimed at increasing sales and building the FLIR brand.

Consistently update the Division’s website both for improved content relevancy to customers and prospects and to increase search engine rankings. This individual will work with media and other partners to create new third-party content to extend our brand digitally, while increasing the quality and quantity of inbound sales leads.

This individual will act as a “point person,” responsible for improving results for key market segments, such as “after -market sales” or for key industry segments.


 
Qualifications:
• BS/BA degree or equivalent required (Marketing, English, Journalism Major, Business
Administration).
• Minimum of 3 years working in an agency environment or marketing communications organization
• Exceptional writing samples/abilities, as well as a strong working knowledge of how direct
marketing campaigns are conceived and executed
• Strong web marketing and technical proficiencies
• Results-oriented with a desire to succeed
