SUMMARY:

In a professional, customer-oriented environment, the primary focus of the Inside Sales Technical Representative will be to provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding inside sales calls for infrared cameras and accessories in North America.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Answer incoming pool calls and be able to field technical questions about the cameras, our software and IR camera applications and make specific recommendations on solutions that exceed customer expectations.

2. Travel to customer sites to do product demonstration with outside salespeople and on your own

3. Follow up with potential customers to close sales

4. Work both independtly and with the outside sales team to close sales

5. Attend various trade shows throughout the United States

6. Create technical presentations for customers and other staff members

7. Interact with other departments within the company

8. Ability to learn the technical aspects of our product line

9. Complete our Level I certification training

10. Contribute to the group with new market ideas and suggestions

11. Ability to grow with and within the company and accept new challenges and opportunities some of which may require re-location
 
Qualifications:
• Possess a college degree, Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Industrial Distribution or Engineering preferred.
• Have excellent inter-personal, telephone, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to handle social media including website communications and on line chat.
• Previous sales experience preferred but not required.
• You must also demonstrate an aptitude for technology as well as an advanced attention to detail.
• Excellent computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook and CRM programs such as Salesforce. SAP experience a plus.
