Job Responsibilities:

General Summary:

Provides database support and segmentation analysis for supporting Channel Management, Field Marketing, and Customer Acquisitions. Interfaces with vendor selected to provide information and support initiative. Provides weekly updates on project status and ensures project remains on track from a budget standpoint.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Works independently to manage multiple projects and monitors the budget of those projects.
2. Uses XO proprietary data and secondary data to produce lists, reports and other analysis to support Channel Management, Field Marketing, and Customer Acquisitions.
3. Guides the development of appropriate database resources and measurement mechanisms to target customers for segmentation and prospect marketing results.
4. Responds to various ad-hoc reporting requests from Customer Retention, Customer Marketing, and other functional units as required.
5. Interfaces with vendor to analyze and implement new data feed for segmentation.
6. Provides reporting as needed to PMO (Project Management Organization) team for project status and results.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Sufficient knowledge of marketing principals to guide the use of marketing data.
• Extremely proficient in computer programs such as Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
• Familiar with CRM systems is helpful, but not required.
• Has successfully managed several projects simultaneously.
• Strong PC skills - with significant working knowledge of Microsoft EXCEL and POWERPOINT
• Multi-task oriented and well organized
• Motivated self-starter

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, finance or related fields
• Relevant Work Experience:
• 1-2 years business-to-business marketing experience
• 2-3 years of experience in telecommunications services desirable
