Job Summary: The Marketing Manager position is an integral member of the marketing team. The Marketing Manager is responsible for producing high quality and timely proposals, qualifications packages, managing the proposal process and various other marketing activities while supporting Webcor’s business and client philosophy.
•Produce multiple and simultaneous RFP and qualifications packages dealing directly with project sponsors and Webcor executives on tight deadline. •Write proposal response requests and other proposal material. •Work with executives and project teams to develop project specific presentation material with direct input from VP of Marketing. •Collect, manage and organize proposal data. •Update/Maintain historical project database. •Manage production of specific collateral material. •Press relations as necessary. •Direct mail and client gift campaign involvement. •Produce and review outsourced marketing publication materials. •Create specific promotional and sponsorship material. •Manage, track, move, store, and organize marketing collateral material and promotional items. •Assist with Marketing Budget tracking. •Coordinate and manage outside vendors. •Train other marketing and company personnel. •Assist with corporate community efforts and events. •Maintain programs for promotional items, Webcor Wear, and web page. •Duties and responsibilities may be added or changed as deemed appropriate by management.
Physical Requirements
Performance of the required duties will require the physical ability to exhibit flexibility in the work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks. The ability to use both hands when binding packages on corporate binding machine and ability to move fingers and manipulate small objects easily and skillfully, finger manipulation, rather than typing wpm. Walking, standing, sitting, talking and hearing, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and ability to sit for periods of time. Performing this job requires the ability to perform repetitive arm movements when assembling packages and reach above shoulder level and lift from high or low positions occasionally. This position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 30 lb. boxes for up to 100 feet, and sustained concentration and prolonged commitment to job tasks.
Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
•Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or communications. •Minimum of six years marketing/management experience. •Past position in a marketing department producing proposals and qualifications packages. •Experience in production of marketing collateral pieces and presentation material. •AEC Industry experience a plus. •Ability to work as a team member in a fast paced environment as well as the capability to operate autonomously while dealing with multiple deadline dates. •Solid prioritization skills and attention to detail with a dedication and commitment to high quality work. •Ability to write effectively and efficiently. •Strong interpersonal skills. •Software/Computer knowledge: Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Outlook. Strong background and familiarity with internet search engines. •Knowledge in Photoshop and other graphics programs a plus.
