NetBackup Administrator

The requirements for a NetBackup Admin are:
1. Strong knowledge of NetBackup 5.0, 5.1, 6.5 core product on Windows and UNIX platforms.
2. Strong knowledge of Vault
3. Knowledge of Sun/STK tape libraries and LTO1,2,3 tape drives.
4. Tech writing skills, be able to write procedures, if necessary
5. Ability to do some standard NetBackup tutoring a plus.
6. Knowledge of korn shell and perl scripting a plus.

The work this person will perform includes:
1. Backup issue handling
2. Consulting/training Tribune staff on handling backup failures, etc.
3. Working on new client/server setup
4. Various auditing functions
5. Creating tools for the backup environment
