Sr. WebSphere / AIX Administrator
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:
• Manage WebSphere installations, modifications, performance management & configuration
• Act as code & build manager for WebSphere applications
• Manage interactions with members from internal & vendor organizations
• Investigate & resolve application hosting issues
• Develop application & operational processes needed to model, integrate, automate & manage
efficient, flexible business processes
• 5+ years solid WebSphere System Management & Architecture experience managing 24/7
applications
• In-depth experience with WebSphere 6.1 ND
• Fluent with AIX, familiar with Unix, Linux, Solaris or other Unix type operating systems
• Advanced experience analyzing & implementing procedures to improve system & application
efficiency
• Ability to automate manual procedures utilizing shell scripting, JACL & Jython
• WebSphere 6.1 certification preferred
• Bachelor's degree required |
