RPG Developer

SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting the AS/400 Custom Application by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Monitors and assigns baseline tickets to programmers.

• Acts as a mentor for the AS/400 programmers.

• Provides emergency and standard support for all AS/4000 users.

• Gains a working knowledge of user’s tasks and interaction with the AS/400 programs.

• Develops and enhances programs according to user specifications.

• Develops test scenarios for each program change in coordination with users.

• Promotes new programming to the production environments.

• Assists in documenting technical specifications for program changes.

• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 5 plus years of RPG ILE development experience preferred

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires travel to branch locations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
