Summary:
Serve across e-marketing segments as a senior project manager managing various agency roll out processes, campaign kick off processes, legal and Medicare Compliance review cycles. Responsible to edit and review agency and internally generated copy using expert grammar, structure and web site content development skills. Develop and manage social media campaigns that build The SCOOTER Store’s online brand, support search engine optimization goals and generate new business opportunities.
Scope: This position involves a moderate degree of job structure. Under general direction, the employee will perform a variety of tasks with limited opportunities to use standardized solutions. The employee is expected to use discretion and judgment to make decisions, interpret directions and apply guidelines and policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Contribute to the development of e-marketing planning and strategy particularly in the areas of social media and content development • Design and drive effective agency acquisition, campaign roll out and campaign tracking processes within the Social Media e-segment and across all e-segments. • Work with creative agency managing cost and scope to service all segments with effective offers, messaging and creative quarter to quarter. • Develop long term strategy around messaging, creative and offers working to leverage ideas and concepts from other marketing channels • Author project life cycle documentation. i.e., Project Brief, Creative Brief, Business Requirements, and Design Specifications. • Manage web site and campaign content change processes and coordinate approval process for each project (management, legal, content owners). • Assist in the concept and implementation of new web projects. i.e., web site redesign versions, web landing pages, email blasts, navigation, mini site development, section addition, section changes. • Manage outside content vendors to cost and delivery goals. Monitor syndicated content tools selecting relevant content for various areas of web site. Write and edit web content articles, headers and navigation. • Uncover new opportunities to optimize TSS web site, improve campaign performance including kick off processes and lead processing – support these efforts with excellent project management skills • Develop and lead cross department and functional teams to cause improved effectiveness and aggressive growth of the emarketing channel.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsibilities include scheduling and assigning work and measuring performance of outside agencies as well as contributing to hiring, promotion, termination and pay determination decisions of the same.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent; five to seven years job-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Project management certificate preferred. Internet marketing content development required, direct response experience preferred.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Broad knowledge of a variety of work tools, Microsoft Office, Dreamweaver, HTML • Web content development experience, ability to access appropriately written web copy • Understanding of the web medium and how it differs from print media • Familiarity with a variety of internet marketing tools, Search Engine Optimization, Pay Per Click, Email, and Newsletter Marketing • Ability to communicate technical ideas to traditional media staff • Ability to manage vendor resources objectively and effectively • Ability to persuade others in the use of the internet to accomplish marketing goals • Ability to identify opportunities to leverage internet technologies to solve marketing problems
