The Cost Accountant will support the manufacturing operations organization, ensure accurate inventory valuation and control, work with personnel to ensure that work orders are closed in a timely manner and variances are investigated and resolved. Will be heavily involved in month end close activities and be responsible for complex account reconciliation's. Assist in the documentation and implementation of various policies. Support the quarterly and annual reviews and audits and assist the Cost Accounting Manager.
* Review and cost manufacturing work order activity daily.
* Work with Manufacturing to analyze and resolve variances
* Provide monthly account reconciliation's
* Follow up and solve outstanding issues in a timely manner
* On-going data base maintenance between JD Edwards and Siebel
* Prepare weekly report of unbilled inventory
* Assisting in the Semi Annual Standards Revision
* Special projects, as assigned |
