Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
Monitors profitability and customer satisfaction of assigned dealers (include but not limited to exclusive, minorities, exclusive intenders, customer facing exclusives and new dealers). Identifies operational deficiencies and areas of opportunity for both financial improvement and customer satisfaction improvement of assigned dealerships. Develops, presents, ensures implementation and confirms sustainability for recommended process improvements via on site consultations with assigned dealers. Utilizes dealer financial statement, internal management reports, industry best practices and customer satisfaction data to develop relevant analysis tools, tracking reports and presentation materials. Dynamically presents improvement suggestions to secure acceptance for the integration of sustainable dealership processes that have a measured impact on profitability and Customer Satisfaction, specifically; Fixed Absorption, Sales Operations Absorption and Customer Loyalty. Works in tandem with District Management team in analyzing CARE performance, market registration efficiency, dealer advertising, sales/service/parts marketing activities and utilization of Mazda profit building initiatives. Reports progress to Regional Management to ensure the continuous evolution of successful dealership Care and profitability strategies.

Essential Duties
1. Develops strategies, programs and initiatives designed to improve exclusive dealer profitability. Implements actions and/or processes for maximum effectiveness.
2. Reviews dealer financial statements with Dealer Principal and General Manager. Communicates deficiencies and implements improvement plans.
3. Develops, presents (to both dealer and dealership staff) and ensures implementation of CS action plans that improve sustainable dealership customer satisfaction processes.
4. Determines and develops most effective way to communicate reporting procedure results to supervisor, regional management and district manager teams.
5. Participates in determining candidates for retail revolution initiatives and assist in implementation activities.
6. Coordinates and implements all new dealer installations in organization with the District Management team.
Skill Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:(Minimum)Bachelor's degree(B.A./B.S.)in business administration or related discipline
Experience: 4 or more years of district management experience (or equivalent combination or education and experience).

Training/Certification

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Knowledge of accounting and finance related to analyzing and interpreting financial statements and market analysis.
• Knowledge of car dealership operations, specifically showroom and sales drive activities and processes.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with dealers, staff, senior management, customers, attorneys and public agencies.
• Working computer knowledge including spreadsheets.
• Familiar with NADA Financial comparison models and Dealer 20-Group composites preferred.
