The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Manage design and delivery of bridge projects, including highway, railway, and industrial bridges, as well as retaining structures * Project management * Client liaison * Business development * Proposal writing * Employee mentoring * Assessment * Analysis, design * Cost estimating * Preparing tenders * Reviewing shop drawings * Construction administration * Responsibilities for quality control and assurance

Required Skills:
|
The following skills, experience and qualifications are required:
* Undergraduate degree in structural engineering from an accredited university * Post-graduate degree is an asset * Minimum five years Canadian experience * Eligible for professional registration in B.C. * Strong background in analysis and design of concrete, steel and wood structures * Experience in inspection, assessment, analysis, and design of highway, railway, and industrial bridges * Experience in local design and construction practices * Proven experience working with and managing client expectations * Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken * Strong organization skills * Committed team player
