As the Chief Engineer you will be responsible for the supervision of all Maintenance personnel, manage the operations of all manufacturing equipment including boilers. You will review the plan maintenance requirements ensuring that the equipment is properly maintained and lead all troubleshooting. Furthermore, you will review the equipment improvements and champion initiatives for reducing costs and improving productivity. You will oversee the purchasing of critical manufacturing parts and plan and review all shutdowns and maintenance projects including costing. you will look after monthly reporting for maintenance as well as Health and safety. you will monitor worker compliance with applicable legal acts and regulations and company rules and procedure including taking appropriate and timely corrective actions.
the successful candidate will possess a 1st class stationary engineering ticket and supervision experience working within a manufacturing environment.
