Description:

Our client is an industry leader in program and project management providing multidisciplinary services for large-scale, complex projects, in the four principle markets of Infrastructure, Communities, Buildings, and Transportation.

Our client is seeking a number of Contracts Administrators for their GTA offices. These positions will be directly responsible for the coordination of all mechanical / electrical functions from tendering through to construction completion, this role must have strong working knowledge of contract documents, design vision, project scope and construction administration budgeting.​ Working closely with Project Managers, the successful candidate will review and manage all aspects of the construction administration process including: contracts, drawing submittals, communications, documentation, schedules and site functions.​ The Construction Contract Administrator also coordinates the mechanical, electrical and structural project components to ensure successful construction.​ Based out of our clients Toronto area office, this position will work in a team environment on a diverse range of interesting and exciting projects.​


Required Skills:

This position requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, building science and excellent understanding of construction methods. The successful candidate must possess exceptional analytical, problem solving, communication and leadership skills in order to confidently manage project construction and maintain quality standards during tight deadlines.​ Applicants should also be proficient in bidding procedures, project field reporting, field reviews, payment certification, site document processing and contract change procedures.​ An electrical / mechanical Technology Diploma or related education coupled with at least 5 years of relevant CA experience is required.
