Description:
• Process bi-weekly payrolls on a weekly basis which includes the following tasks:
 Collect electronic payroll data from all departments.
 Upload payroll data from Trucking Dept.
 Document, verify and balance employee data.
 Issue checks and direct deposit payments.
• Process all supplemental and bonus payrolls.
• Assist with preparation and submission of payroll taxes when requested.
• Assist with preparation and submission of 401(k) contributions and loan payments when requested.
• Manage employee deductions including – garnishments, cafeteria plan payments, cheese purchases, Glanbia gear purchases, health insurance premiums, etc.
• Balance and tally benefit hours available at year-end for all hourly personnel. Prepare manual attendance cards to balance with the payroll system.
• Balance benefit hours available between SAP HR and the payroll processing program on an on-going basis for all salary exempt and salary non-exempt personnel.
• Provide assistance to other Finance Departments as needed.
Required Skills:
• Requires a High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• A basic understanding of accounting.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
