Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct classroom/laboratory chemical agent monitoring and analytical training courses
  • Update/develop standard operating procedures
  • Update/develop laboratory course materials
  • Maintain analytical instrumentation; perform preventive and corrective maintenance procedures
  • Generate/containerize hazardous waste


    • Critical Skills:
  • Well spoken articulate individual
  • Ability to work individually or is a group setting
  • Self motivated
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair analytical instrumentation

    Required Skills:
    Additional Skills:
  • 1-5 years of working experience.
  • Instruction or teaching experience.
  • Experience operating the following instrumentation: Agilent 6890 Gas Chromatograph (GC) equipped with Flame Photometric Detector, Flame Ionization Detector, and 5973 Mass Selective Detector (MSD); Automatic Continuous Air Monitoring System (ACAMS); and Miniature Continuous Air Monitoring System (MINICAMS).
  • Ability to pick up and move 50 pounds.

    B.S Chemistry/Biology or Environmental Sciences
