Description: We are seeking highly motivated Technical Leads, Project Managers and Business Analysts to join our growing practice with a focus on Knowledge Management Solutions,specifically with a focus on Learning Management System (LMS) implementation, to support both small and large scale business and IT transformation efforts.
Requirements:
Successful candidates will meet a combination of the following criteria: Professional work experience with a large professional services company or large corporation providing learning and training solutions to internal or external clients. Experience implementing learning management systems from a technical perspective. Define training function technical requirements, such as for training scheduling, enrollment, attendance tracking, training metrics and analytics, and integration with other business functions System selection LMS infrastructure design and installation, including server set up, application installation, load balancing design, and external hosting Application configuration and customization Data migration and conversion Interface design and programming Application and interface testing using tools like Mercury LoadRunner Report design and development, such as for Business Objects, Crystal, etc. System security set up, including role and workflow definition and end user security administration Application deployment, including system cutover, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer to ongoing support technical resources Ongoing infrastructure and application support Evaluate, apply, and implement system patches, enhancements, and upgrades Collaborate and benchmark with vendors and other companies on defects, technical issues, and future system functionality and capabilities Two (2+) or more years supporting the integration of web-based training courseware and virtual classroom technology (e.g., WebEx) with LMS environments. Set up and upload web-based training courseware Remediate courseware issues using authoring tools like Lectora, Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash, Captivate, etc. Integrate courseware with learning management systems using standards such as AICC or SCORM Testing and troubleshoot courseware performance Two (2+) or more years experience managing projects, including defining project scope and budget, creating project plans, managing project resources, issue resolution, and reporting status. Undergraduate degree in Information Technology or related area. Willing and able to travel 25-50%. Currently resides in MD/DC/Virginia Area (Relocation for experienced candidates would be consider) Position requires US citizenship and the ability to attain clearance if required.
Highly desired skills:
Familiarity with LMS applications like Plateau, SumTotal, Saba, SAP, Oracle, etc. An ability to quickly learn and apply GP methodologies, templates, and tools. An ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and be able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. An ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving, fast paced environment.
