| Description: |
Summary: Responsible for the delivery and/or assessment of training within the Apprenticeship/NVQ programmes and maintaining the quality of provision to the standards determined by GP, The Adult Learning Inspectorate, Awarding Bodies, Learning Skills Councils, Scottish Enterprise Council and other regulatory bodies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities To assist and support the Director of Operations and Regional Training Manager with the implementation of the annual business strategy and development plan for the designated geographical area and skills sector. To ensure the successful delivery of apprenticeship/NVQ outcomes in line with GP contractual requirements and own individual Assessor target outcomes. To maintain learner retention volumes in line with national and local targets. To actively update and develop own awareness and training in line with the Company Skills for Life Strategy. To ensure that the quality of own work submitted meets GP and awarding body standards. To ensure through own work that centre approval and nil tariff status is maintained at operational centre. To ensure that portfolios are submitted for final IV in a timely manner in line with GP’s contractual requirements. To ensure that certificates and portfolios are processed to learners in a timely manner. To assist and support the Business Development Manager develop new and existing business within all areas of GP’s business operations. To participate in the staff development programme within the framework of IIP and within the agreed individual staff development plan. To ensure that the Equal Opportunity, Health and Safety and Quality Policies are adhered to within your area of responsibility and that any non-compliance is reported to your Manager To ensure that any defective equipment/building faults are reported promptly to your Manager. To communicate with internal and external agencies, staff, customers, management and peers in a manner appropriate to your position at all times. To ensure that the corporate values of the company are actively promoted and followed at all times. To act in accordance with your confidentiality agreement with the company at all times. To follow policies and procedures. To support a culture that promotes teamwork and discourages divisiveness at all organisational levels. |

Desirable Requirements Good standard of secondary education. A1, A2. One year assessment experience. Sector occupational competence. Good administration skills. Must be computer literate. Excellent communication skills. Good networking skills. Car owner and driver. Willingness to travel across the UK. Well presented. Learning and Development Level 3 award. Basic Skills Award. Professional qualification/ Degree. 5 years occupational experience/qualification. NVQ Level 2. Microsoft Office/other DTA. Other language skills. Labour market knowledge. Full clean licence. |
