We are currently seeking several Contract Training Facilitators across Canada to support one of our clients. Please note: This position does require heavy travel throughout Canada.

SUMMARY: Conducts training programs for clients by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Confers with management/client to understand work situation.

  • Implements training programs, systems and procedures to achieve client's vision, mission, strategy and goals.

  • Provides clients with tools that maximize training investments and achieve business results.

  • Facilitates classroom and in-field training and coaching of curriculum programs.

  • Delivers training/coaching as may be required. This may include training on weekends or off hours.

  • Travels to client sites, across Canada, as required.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Free-lance status (able to work as an independent contractor)

  • Minimum of 3-years training experience within the retail industry, preferably multi-site specialty retailing.

  • Strong presentation skills with knowledge and/or application of adult learning principles.

  • Superior oral communication skills.

  • Excellent facilitation skills and confident personality.

  • Coaching skills.

  • Sales experience and/or willingness to use consultative style sales techniques.

  • Detail-oriented, organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.

  • In-depth industry knowledge in Retail Organizations, Retail Services and Consumer Products.

  • Bilingual preferred: English and French

  • Must be able to travel 100%

  • Experience in the postal industry preferred
