Description:
Generac Power Systems – one of the world's largest independent manufacturers of complete engine-driven generator systems for industrial, residential, mobile, recreational vehicle and communications applications - is seeking an Engineering Manager for our transfer switch division at our Waukesha Corporate Headquarters.
Reporting to the Engineering VP, you will be responsible for Generac’s industrial electrical switchgear product line. The lineup will consist of automatic transfer switches, electrical enclosures and controls, switch contactors. Responsibilities include defining the competitive landscape around electrical transfer switches, comparing and contrasting Generac’s strengths against its chief competitors and identifying the technology trends affecting this product lineup. This position will work directly with the executive leadership team, product management, engineering and sales leaders to define the product line.

THE REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering • 5-10 years experience in a related industry • Cross-functional knowledge of engineering, service and support functions • Demonstrated organization and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interface with all levels of management
