Description:
Generac Power Systems – a leading manufacturer of generators -- is seeking a Mechanical Designer/Programmer for its Eagle, WI location.
The Mechanical Designer/Programmer’s main objective will be to support day-to-day manufacturing operations by creating CNC programs and set-up sheets for Turret Punch Presses, Water Jet, and Laser. Candidate must have extensive knowledge of sheet metal machines and theories.
POSITION DETAILS: • Work with operators and production control to resolve programming issues and improve throughput. • Work with product design engineers to implement manufacturability enhancements. • Create routings and perform Bill of Material (BOM) maintenance. • Support implementation of Wind Chill PDM link
Experience with Laser and Water Jet programming a plus. This is a high pressure position with critical deadlines during product development.

* Ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD, ProE and preferably Fabriwin. * Basic trigonometry and advanced blue print reading is required.
