Position Description:
The Mission
The Facility Department is committed to providing our customers a professional work place. Our focus is to provide a first class operating facility for our customers, visitors and business associates.
The Position
- Manages the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment and machinery, buildings, and other facilities
- Plans, budgets, and schedules facilities modifications including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs
- Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to facilities department
- Oversees the co-ordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, facility expansion.
- Partners with authorities and external service providers, provides permissions from authorities
- Manages company car fleet
- Optimizes facility operation, its energy consumption and its control, controls central heating, air conditioning and delivery of media
- Manages operational expenses and proposes budget
- Manages cleaning services, guarding and reception services
- Manages fire protection and healthy protection, is responsible for co-ordination of labor prevention and fire protection
- Manages operations in consideration of company environmental policies
- Controls purchase and distribution of protective means
- Repairs facilities and equipment when needed
- Manages furnishing and maintenance of communal areas
The Requirements
- High school or university degree is required
- Typically required 3+ years of experience with building administration and 1+ years of experience with facility management (when high school degree 5+ /3+ years experience required)
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English is a must
- Ability to work with PC and WAN means
- Ability to negotiate, communicate with suppliers and institutions
- Interested in technique, handy man
- Overview in area of dangerous substances, flammables and chemicals is an advantage
- Experience with project management or leading small group of employees is an advantage
- Driving license B (personal car)
