Field Production Superintendent

Description

Manage field production operations including but not limited to daily producing, injection/disposal well operations, surface equipment installation and maintenance, well bore maintenance and repairs, and chemical treatment programs. Provide support as necessary for production engineering, production administration/materials, HSE, development drilling/exploration and affiliate pipeline operations staff. Supervise company and contract field production staff for large scale (40MBOPD±) oil field operation.

Requirements

Must have good math, computer, communication and organizational skills. A minimum of 15 years of oil production operations experience with 2 years of supervisory experience preferred. Must have a strong background in oil well artificial lift techniques, particularly rod pump and electric submersible applications. Experience with gas lift technology would also be advantageous. Basic knowledge of Federal and State production operations rules and regulations will be necessary for this position. Must be able to effectively communicate in multi-disciplinary environment. Cost and personnel management will also be necessary skills for this position. Education requirement is high school diploma or GED certificate. Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
