Description:
Buchanan Associates is seeking a highly skilled, extremely polished and poised contract Infrastructure Consultant with a strong Microsoft specialty to join our professional services team. You will use your dedication to customer service and ability to devise comprehensive information technology solutions to design, architect and engineer solid information technology solutions in medium to large infrastructure environments equipped with the full breadth of Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 & VISTA.
The focus of the ideal candidate will be architecting and implementing mission critical enterprise solutions utilizing Windows 2003 technology. You must have the ability to design systems at the highest level using Active Directory Windows 2003/2007,Exchange 2003/2007, infrastructure expert with Windows operating system services (including Windows Server 2000/2003, Windows VISTA, SMS etc). Candidate must have led teams, ideally in a consulting capacity using a structured methodology.
Must be able to assist clients with upgrades to Exchange 2003/2007 and Active Directory 2003/2007. The candidate must have previous consulting experience working on large-scale migrations to Exchange 2003/2007.
You have at least 5 years’ experience in consulting, with 7 to 10 years overall experience in systems engineering, a MCSE certification and possibly a CCNA/CCVP and/or SANS/CISSP designation. You have the expertise to design, architect and engineer Active Directory, Exchange 2000/2003/2007, WinServer 2000/2003 solutions and manage migrations in Windows 2003 also to Active Directory on Windows 2000/2003 as well as complimentary experience in other areas such as CITRIX, Altiris Management Suite, VMWare ESX 2.5/3.0, Netware, SCCM, SCOM, and Portal services. Experience in full Systems/Infrastructure Design and Implementation Life Cycle.
