SENIOR .NET/WEB DEVELOPER

With new projects on the horizon, Buchanan Associates looking for Senior.Net/Web Developers to join our growing professional service development team. The successful incumbent must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with Microsoft .NET technologies. Candidates should have very strong application development experience and broad exposure to web applications (ASP.NET). The successful incumbent should have at least 6+ years of experience as an IT architect/developer involved in largescale IT implementations with academic exposure to object oriented technologies as well as practical experience implementing object oriented systems. Working with Web Portals and .NET technology on a day-to-day basis, you will also apply your top quality designing skills to take ownership of new and pre-existing development projects and opportunities.
We have challenging work using the latest development tools. Our current development environments include: Windows 2000 & 2003, Microsoft .NET architecture, Visual Studio (C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET), SQL Server, Analysis Services, Reporting Services, SharePoint, and Web Parts.
Responsibilities
• Write complex technical documentation including database models, application designs, UML models, use case descriptions, etc.
• Provide knowledge and expertise in a wide variety of technologies and system integrations (multi-tier, service oriented, client server, distributed, etc.);
• Participate in design sessions and code reviews; perform developer testing and documentation
• Assist Team Leader in distilling customer needs into technical requirements
• Developed one or more of the following: portal applications, CRM systems, document management systems, collaboration tools and other related enterprise wide content applications.
• Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Computer Engineer, Computer Science or related field
• Experience building enterprise solutions that include integration with other systems using distributed technologies
• Strong technical and analytical abilities with proactive problem solving skills
• Ability to plan and organize in complex and fast paced environments
• Results oriented, resourceful, team player, with a mature and positive attitude
• Must possess sound judgment, and be self motivated with excellent time management skills
• Communicate well with customers, management and peers
• Possess an indepth understanding of internet and intranet applications, emerging web technologies, and industry trends.
• Required experience: Extensive knowledge of Microsoft .NET architecture, including: ADO.NET, ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, web services, object oriented analysis and design
