Opportunity Overview
The ideal individual will have 1-2 years experience providing support to end users on a variety of technologies including Windows 9x/2000/2003/XP, Vista, MS Office through 2007, printer, and email issues. Previous executive level support is a plus.
The successful candidate must have the ability to identify, research, and resolve technical problems and escalate problems to other support teams when necessary. Must be able to respond to telephone calls, email, and personal requests for technical support in a timely manner and have the ability to explain technical situations to non-technical individuals. The ability to set and manage expectations is paramount. You must be mature, self-motivated, and professional with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Required Skills
* Strong problem solving/analytical abilities with proven experience supporting PC and LAN environments.
* Detail orientated.
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment, able to adapt to frequent change and be able to work a flexible schedule
* Strong commitment to quality customer service
* Ability to work with diverse groups and individuals to set goals, establish priorities, and solve complex problems
* Ability to work independently as well as willing to follow direction and best practices
* Desire to help others and share your knowledge with other team members
* Strong understanding of Windows processes and tasks with the ability to identify, isolate and remove adware, spyware and viruses
* Understanding of basic network components and concepts
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic network issues
Desired Skills:
* Citrix
* Active Directory
* Blackberry
* SMS
* A+, MCP or equivalent certifications
* Audio / Visual support experience
