Ensures that all housekeeping services functions are performed in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures. Complies with all standards set forth by state, federal and local law and other regulatory agencies. Is held accountable for compliance with all BroMenn policies and procedures, particularly those dealing with discriminatory acts. Displays the philosophy and values of the organization through daily behavior. Puts the mission statement into practice.
Required Skills
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities •High school diploma preferred. •Previous housekeeping experience preferred. •Ability to identify and follow verbal and/or written instructions. •Strong communication skills in order to communicate problems, concerns, and suggestions with supervisors and co-workers. •Ability to prioritize multiple tasks appropriately. •Ability to complete all required training and competencies, including age specific competencies, HIPAA training, etc. •Must have professional appearance and attitude.
Physical Demands •Frequently lifts up to 35 lbs. Pushes and pulls carts weighing up to 125 lbs. •Reaching for, handling, feeling, i.e., sense of touch, stooping, turning and carrying are all necessary for the variety of duties performed. •Ability to stand for extended periods of time. •Physical stamina necessary for vigorous work.
