Description
Provides administrative and secretarial assistance to the Director of Health Information Management and department management. Serves as recording secretary for various meetings chaired by HIM. Creates and maintains various statistical databases, reports, charts, and graphs. Serves in other administrative functions, which involve interaction with high level internal and external contacts. Coordinates the daily fiscal operations and office functions of the department. Develops and maintains the department calendar. Oversees maintenance of departmental policies and procedures.

Required Skills
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and E-mail required.
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in statistical analysis and reporting
• Strong management and organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to accomplish objectives and adapt to multiple and changing demands required.
• Critical thinking skills
