For advanced and larger businesses, Alteritech provides business application migrations, storage area network upgrades and complex hosting applications. Additionally, Alteritech has superior expertise and experience in meeting the complex demands of the legal community for the integration of applications such as document management We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years of hands on experience in small and medium scale enterprise design, implementation, and support. Essential Functions Design and setup a TCP/IP network including DNS, DHCP, and WINS Design, implementation and configuration of a multi-office Microsoft Active Directory Physically built and configured Compaq/Dell/HP server equipment Design, setup, and implementation of a highly available virtual environment using VMware Infrastructure 3.x Design, setup, and implementation of a storage area network on fiber channel or iSCS Implementation and Management of Virtualized Server Environments Technical documentation of existing system configuration Required Skills Experience working within a fast-paced systems integrator or similar professional services organization Enjoys working with existing clients and is eager to engage potential new clients Service oriented attitude - will do what it takes to get the job done correctly Ability to manage a technical project with minimum oversight Eager learner who picks up new technologies easily and can become proficient in a short time Available for frequent after hours or weekend project work Experience with Managed Services Tools Microsoft Windows 2000, 2003, 2008 Domain Infrastructure Theoretical and Practical Application of IP Exchange Server 2003 & 2007 Router and Switch Configuration Experience Enterprise Backup Solutions Enterprise Antivirus Solutions Appliance Based Firewall Security Windows Terminal Server VPN Technology Desired:CCNA or CCNP,Linux experience, VDI experience, or Windows Terminal Server and/or Citrix experience |
