About the Role:

• Functional teams, consisting of Design, Software, Programming, Marketing, Technology Development and Yield Enhancement, in order to deliver quality products to market in a timely fashion. Candidate's main focus to improve the failure analysis process, reduce cycletime and generate corrective actions.
• Provided Engineering support for internal and external customer issues of both mature and emerging Actel FPGA products.
• Familiarity with operation and application of analytical tools such as micro-probing, bench testing, all common lab equipment (scopes, data generators, curve tracers)/SEM/Liquid Crystal/E.M./FIB/TEM/EDX/CSAM/TIVA/OBIC/EBIC and chemical deprocessing.

Required Skills and Experience:

• BSEE/MSEE Degree.
• 3 years related work experience.
• Experience with lab equipment required for the debug/characterization of semiconductor devices.
• Must have a solid understanding of VLSI design, circuit layout, semiconductor device physics and CMOS logic. Strong Verilog or VHDL skills with synthesis experience a plus.
• Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills are required.
• Analog and FPGA or ASIC design experience preferred.
